Sonya Wilson is the author of an exciting new children's novel called 'Spark Hunter'– an epic Kiwi adventure fantasy set in Fiordland, with a strong environmental message around the importance of protecting the country's native birds and trees.  Sonya grew up in Southland so the story is based on some of her own adventures as a child with a bit of magic thrown in. She will talk about the wilderness and the creatures that have inspired her writing and show where it all began when she was 12 on a class trip to Fiordland's Deep Cove.  Suitable for ages 9 to 12 +
